1. Committee on Fisheries (PECH)
Fish - the new Oil? Is Europe at a risk of irrevocably altering its oceanic biodiversity? How could states balance the necessity of large scale fishing with environmental considerations?

2. Committee on Cultural and Education (CULT)
The Sami, the Basque and the Komi. How could Europe protect the rights and heritage of indigenous peoples whilst promoting their interaction with other ethnic groups?

3. Committee on Human Rights (DROI)
With Islamophobia on the rise, nationalist parties are gaining support in many parts of Europe. How can the EU realise its ideal of peaceful religious diversity, freedom of thought and freedom from discrimination as ensured under the Charter of Fundamental Rights?

4. Committee on Industry, Research and Energy I (ITRE I)
How should European countries best approach gene technology in order to find the best balance between a positive contribution to society and potential ethical and ecological dangers?

5. Committee on Industry, Research and Energy II (ITRE II)
The Post Fukushima World. What should constitute an integrated European energy policy in order to ensure safety of the continent's supply and infrastructure?

6. Committee on Constitutional Affairs (AFCO)
In light of the continually declining voter turnout in European and national elections: In an age wherein the world's leading democracies are making a shift into the digital world, what should Europe do to re-vitalise its democratic culture?

7. Committee on Committee on Foreign Affairs (AFET)
‘A little more than a re-branding of existing policies’: In reaction to accusations of a too cautious approach to the ‘Arab Spring’, how should the EU consider its policies in the Southern Mediterranean in order to fully and durably support the ‘new beginning’?

8. Committee on Employment and Social Affairs (EMPL)
With human trafficking being the most common form of modern slavery and the fastest growing criminal industry in the world, how can European states, NGOs and the continent's youth work together to address the problem in the countries of origin, as well as within the Schengen Area?
